11 Days – Vietnam Southern And Beach Extension

Morning, meet our guide at your hotel and transfer about 75 km North-west of downtown Ho Chi Minh City to visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels. The driving time is approximately 2 hours.
Arrive in Cu Chi, we explore the tunnels which were once a major underground hideout and resistance base of Viet Cong forces during the two wars against the French and the Americans. The tunnels, entirely hand-dug, formed a highly intricate network of interlinked multilevel passageways at times stretched as far as the Cambodian border and totaling over 120 km in length. Its complexity was beyond imagination containing meeting rooms, kitchens, wells, clinics, schools, depots, trenches and emergency exits all aimed for guerrilla warfare. The tunnels were deep and strong enough to withstand destructive bombings and self-contained enough to outlast prolonged sieges. Afterward, return to Saigon for lunch

Afternoon, tour in the city with the Reunification Palace, which was formerly the South Vietnam President’s residence and symbol of the Southern Administration’s reign until end of April 1975. Next, stop at Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica, a neo-Roman cathedral built over 130 years ago by the colonial French with materials entirely imported from Marseilles. Call in Sai Gon Post Office, a fine colonial building which was designed and built in the early 20th Century by the famous French architect Gustave Eiffel. Move on to Cho Lon or the city’s China Town where you will stop off at the Thien Hau temple. The Thien Hau temple was built in the early 19th Century dedicated to Thien Hau, the goddess of seafarers. A short stop will be made at Ben Thanh Market to buy fruits, souvenir if you want before transfer back to hotel.

Morning, pick up at your hotel and transfer about 136km to Vinh Long, a riverside town located in the Mekong Delta. Enjoy a boat cruise to the Caibe floating market with sellers and buyers bargaining and exchangeing goods from their boats, and then to Hoa Binh Phuoc islet where the maze o shady creeks will surely fascinate you. You will have a change to mighle with local peasants, learn the secrets of their bonsai gardening. Visit local homes where the famillies produce tiles and ceramics; drop into rice-paper kiln and coconut-candy kiln; and observe daily country life.
Afternoon, drive to Can Tho & check in and free at leisure.

Morning, depart Ninh Kieu wharf by shuttle-boat, you can see bustling activities along Can Tho riverbanks. Particularly, you may know how local people go fishing with plenty of fish traps and how they transport passengers as well as products by the waterway. Approaching Cai Rang floating market, you can reappear the selling activities in the past using a traditional “offering pole” exchanging consumer goods hanging on the pole for Mekong fruit and vegetables with local sellers. To understand more about lifestyle over here, keep on going into the small creeks called Rach Nho in which the Southern countryside can be seen clearly before cruising back to Ninh Kieu Wharf.

Meet our guide & driver at the hotel lobby then transfer to Da Lat city. Arrival Da Lat, enjoy a private transfer to Da Lat city - is a popular vacation spot for native Vietnamese who are looking for some R&R in a cool spot. This city is popular due to its crisp mountain air, beautiful surrounding forests, and California like weather with private car, driver, and English speaking guide. (300km, driving distance is approximately 7 hours).

Stop in Bao Loc and visit to Dambri waterfall – one of the most beautiful water falls in Lam Dong province. Pouring down from a vertical height of 70 meters, Dambri waterfall looks like the soft hair of the whole forest. At the fall foot is a small bridge crossing the rock-top. Crossing the bridge, tourists will wallow in the non-stop miraculous drizzle made by millions of drops from the imposing waterfall.
Then, drive to Da Lat and check in your hotel.

Morning, transfer to the Cable Car Station by car for a one way to ride to Tuyen Lam Lake, and visit to Truc Lam Zen Monastery. Next visit is to Klong Village of K’ho people.
Arrival Da Lat, check in hotel and enjoy a sightseeing tour of Da Lat, visiting Xuan Huong Lake, the Da Lat Flower Garden, Lam Dong Museum, Linh Son Pagoda, Bao Dai's summer palace, built in 1933 and the famous Hang Nga guest house and art gallery, also known as the "crazy house".
Transfer back to Da Lat and free at leisure.

We start a transfer about 160 km to Nha Trang city, see the beutiful scenery during the long ways and reach to Nha Trang beach for checking in. Relaxing in the rest of day

Spend half a day to discover the coastal city of Nha Trang, which is well known for its long pristine sandy beaches on the turquoise sea, which are ranked among the world’s best. From a patch of wilderness back before the 17th Century, Nha Trang has gone a long way to become the metropolitan center of Khanh Hoa province and an international tourism hotspot nowadays. Visit the Po Nagar Temple, which is a vestige of the ancient Cham Empire before the 17th Century, the Oceanography Institute, which showcases the local marine life’s diversity and the Hon Chong Promontory, which offers a unique seascape with the boulder-stacked shore. End the tour with a visit to Dam market which is the commercial center for local businesses and shopper.

Free in the morning for relaxing, transfer to Phan THiet in the afternoon (250 Km - about 6 hours). Arrival Phan Thiet, Mui Ne beach, check in hotel and free in the rest of day
